There is more to playing music than playing an instrument. It's important to realize that regardless of ones technique on an instrument, musicianship will play a larger role in the success of the musician. Regardless of the style: rock, jazz, folk, classical, etc. or stage: concert hall, jazz club, stadium, or bar, knowing your job is what will best make you a successful musician (you still need to know how to play though!).
In this blog we will attempt to shed some light on how to find some success in the world of music. Don't expect to play Super Bowl Sunday anytime soon but a little bit of info never hurt anyone.
